BDM
Background Database Module: part of the software used to manage the background data stored in the BGDB.
Background Database: the database containing the non-farm specific information on items and their properties. The most important of those are: lists of crops, livestock types, products (fertilizers, manures, pesticides, crop products, animal products, animal inputs, labour & services and other products), units of measurement.
Data Entry Module: part of the software used to transfer farm specific information from the paper quastionnaire to the Farm Database
Data Processing Module: part of the software used to process the combined data from the FDB and BGDB, perform the calcaulation, present the results in Export Tables and alolw for the export of those tables to other data formats.
Farm Database: the database containing the farm specific management information from one or more farms.
